Having worked in education for 10 years, Sarah has expertise in areas such as English as a Second Language, Dual language Education, and Special Education. She holds a Bachelor’s in Applied Linguistics as well as a CELTA from Cambridge University. Sarah’s experience in the field has given her knowledge of the challenges facing educators today, and she is passionate about helping to create solutions that improve the experience of all stakeholders.

She believes in focused implementation and brings a holistic perspective to the Edscale team. Sarah holds a deep understanding of the interconnected issues that have an effect on student’s ability to learn in the classroom. At Austin Independent School District, Sarah was part of a team which worked to improve post-pandemic support and service delivery for Special Education students throughout the district decreasing the amount of students without proper services and supports by 82.8%. During her time working in non-profit educational services, Sarah worked to create partnerships between organizations such as Worker’s Defense Project, Manos de Cristo, and CASA of Travis County to streamline a variety of services to the student population in Austin, Texas. Sarah is excited to use her experience to make a difference for all educators and students along side the team at EdScale.
